Chaotic, colorful, impoverished, beautiful and polluted, Dhaka is a must see. I was recognized as a foreigner by EVERYONE despite my naive attempts for wear “blend-in” clothing. When I walked on the streets people staired at me as if I was from another planet. Many ran up along-side of me and asked where I was from. USA I replied and not once did I witness distain.
The people were polite and friendly. Almost everybody approved of being photographed and many requested I take their photo.
